I FULL MOON Volume 7 ALBEMARLE SENIOR HIGH NEWSPAPER 311 Palestine Road Albemarle, N.C. 28001 982-3711 December 17,1982 dfrtHtirmjB means to me by JILL McINTOSH Christmas, to me, is sitting by a warm fire with the Christmas tree lights on. It’s a time when friends come over to celebrate in this happy occasion. It’s a time when love is spread throughout the house. Alice Whitley Christmas, to me, brings to mind thoughts of putting up the tree on Christmas Eve, going to Midnight Mass, and most of all, being with my family. Nothing is stronger than the bonds between brothers and sisters at Christmas time or any other time. Carol Harbers To me the little things of Christ mas bring the most warmth and love, such as hanging stockings, decorating the tree, teaching the toddlers what Christmas is all about, singing the carols, and sit ting with the family at our Christ mas dinner. These are the little things I love because they bring all people closer together. A big hit this year is the famous E.T. dolls and clothes. The bright yellow Pac Man phone, and the wonderful Garfield stuffed animals also appeal to younger children. To add to the elec tronics of the future are the new electronic games, such as Atari, Celico Vision, Intellivision, and the new electronic Monopoly. Other good ideas are Ladyfingers gloves by Aris, Miss Piggy’s Aerobique Exercise Workout Al bum, and 1983 calendars for the people you know who like to keep up with the months ahead. Leg warmers have been a big hit for girls and women this year. You could order a year’s subscription to your friend’s favorite maga zine, a gift certificate for long distance telephone calls (most teenagers would like this), or just for a gag gift, fill a box full of tokens from the Silver Odyssey and give to your favorite friend.
